Construction Supervision

Finding the right mason, carpenter, lighting designer, fence company, or pond builder can be difficult, time consuming, and frustrating. Cheryl can advise you in hiring sub-contractors to complete various parts of your landscaping, answering and clarifying questions for both you and the sub-contractor.

The fee for Hardscape Construction Supervision is $200.

New Construction

Design fees are typically negotiated as a flat fee based on a percentage of the installation budget. Fees range from 15%-20% and depend primarily on the amount of hardscape features integrated into the project. The need for construction drawings varies with each design, client, site, and builder. Typically I develope a detailed planting plan at 1” to 10’, along with an irrigation zoning plan. A detailed plant list and instructions accompany the plans to landscape installers for competitive bids. Payment is typically scheduled by invoicing on set dates in 2-4 payments.

Association Required Conceptual Design Schematics $250.
